ALL THE WHILE, IN THE very cabin they were now going to be searching for, the hags were growing Hansel fatter and fatter to soon eat, and also continuing to slave the young girl Gretel to the bone.
Gretel made her way to her brother's cage more than once whenever possible.
Each time it was not easy having three sets of watching evil eyes all about her. Yet she whispered time and time again, “Hold on dear brother, we'll get you out, I just know we will.”
He was losing hope. But that's when a knock on the door this late afternoon shook the wooden shack.
All turned to the doorway waiting to see who it could be. Hansel and Gretel wanted to scream out but immediately Penelope cast a spell on their lips, an incantation binding them with sewn threads connecting the top and bottom halves of their lips.
A male voice was heard from outside. “Open up, we see the smoke coming from your chimney and we spotted the light inside from a distance. We know someone is within.”
Agatha ran a hand through her long greasy black hair and then replied, “Who is it knocking at our door at this odd hour; be gone or else.”
Prince Valen looked to the ladies with him and again knocked on the door. “I don't believe it's that late madam and I ask that you open the door or I will break it down.”
Snow and Svetlana both raised an eyebrow at his bold statement!

With a wave of her hand Penelope from inside, let the door fly open on its own accord. Agatha had placed a veil in front of the children and all that appeared was a back wall to the old shack.
Hunched over with a limp, Agatha made her way to the opening. She saw a young man with curly hair, dressed in armor with a sword at his side. With him were two women each being the same approximate age, perhaps twenty or so.
One was a dark-haired beauty with the fullest of red lips. She was dressed with a red scarf and in a long blue dress. The other wore a green cloak and hood and she, too, was dark haired. She looked them over as did her sister Penelope standing back some now in the shadows.
Agatha grunted, “There's no one here but me and my dear sister; what is it that you want, are you hungry?”
Prince Valen frowned, “No we do not come seeking food; we come seeking your help.”
Agatha was rather short with long hair and a pointed protruding nose. Her sister Penelope peered out even more now and was much taller with short grayish hair.
All three companions saw how disgusting these two crones were making note of such appearances.
Snow politely asked, “We’re lost in this
